You may have heard in the media about the changes at Healthspan, the insurer you chose for coverage in 2016.  Healthspan has informed Alcoa that it will be sending out communications to further explain the change and how it may affect you and your families’ health care coverage for 2016.  Please look for this communication from Healthspan in the last two weeks of December. 

If after reading Healthspan’s information you would like to change your medical plan for 2016, you may do so through January 15, 2016, by calling Alcoa123 (1.888.252-6212) and requesting a change in medical plan.  You may select from the PPO options, Basic, Comprehensive, HRA or HSA plan.  After January 15, 2016, you will not be able to change your medical plan unless you experience a special enrollment event under the normal terms of the plan.
