37th UAW
Constitutional Convention
UAW 1050 will elect to send 2 Delegates and 2 Alternates to the
convention, not the 3 and 3 as mailed earlier. There was a misinterpretation
from the eligibility requirements for the number of qualifying Delegates due to
all the recent hiring. Therefore, UAW 1050 does not qualify to send 3 and 3
candidates. Unfortunately, we received the call letter from the International
days after the mailing went out and they have given us only 2 and 2 candidates.
Therefore, we will be electing a total of 4 delegates, 2 will be delegates and 2
will be alternates. Everything else remains the same.
